LuxCore™ is designed for rectangular windows only and must be inside mounted. Not suitable for bay, bow, or shaped windows.

🛠️ Tools You'll Need

Be sure to have the following on hand:

• Metal tape measure (millimetres)
• Pencil and notepad or notes app
• Step stool (if needed)
• Credit card (to check depth)
• Spirit level (optional)

Step 1: Measure the Width

Measure the inside of the window recess at the top, middle, and bottom.
Record the smallest width to the nearest millimetre.

Step 2: Measure the Height

Measure the recess height at the left, middle, and right sides.
Use the smallest height for your order.

Step 3: Check Recess Depth

Measure from the window glass to the edge of the recess using a credit card or ruler.
A depth of 35-40mm is required.

Step 4: Check for Handles or Obstructions

If your window has handles, locks, or other hardware, measure how far they protrude into the recess to ensure shutter clearance.

Step 5: Panel & Midrail Rules

• Min panel width: 250mm | Max width: 850mm
• Max panel height: 3000mm
• 1801-2400mm: 1 midrail required
• 2401-3000mm: 2 midrails required

Step 6: Tilt Control Options

Choose Central Tilt Rod or Clearview. Max tilt control height: 1370mm.

Step 1: Assemble the Frame

Lay the frame pieces flat and connect the corners using the included fixings. Ensure all joints are square. Dry-fit the frame inside the window recess before moving on.

Step 2: Fix the Frame in Place

Hold the frame in position inside the recess. Use a spirit level to check alignment. Mark and drill pilot holes through the pre-drilled frame holes. Then secure the frame using screws and wall plugs.

Step 3: Attach the Shutter Panels

Align each panel with its hinges and attach them to the frame. Open and close each panel to check alignment before tightening all screws fully.

Step 4: Finishing Touches

Clip on any hinge covers or finishing strips. Adjust the louvres or tension screws if needed. Wipe clean and enjoy your new LuxCore™ shutters.
