Shutters (Easy-Fit No-Drill)

For a perfect fit, we measure from bead to bead — this ensures your LuxFit™ shutters fit seamlessly without drilling.
Follow these simple but important steps:

LuxFit™ Shutters (Easy-Fit No-Drill) can only be installed on windows with PVC frames. They are not compatible with aluminium or timber window frames.

Tools You'll Need

To get precise measurements, prepare the following:

Metal tape measure
(millimetres)

Pencil and notepad
(or digital note app)

Step stool or ladder
(for tall windows)

Credit card
(for checking bead depth)

Spirit level
(optional)

Phone or camera
(optional, for reference)

Step 1:

Measure the Width

Measure the inside width of the window frame, from bead to bead.Take three measurements: top, middle, and bottom.
Record the smallest measurement to the nearest millimetre.

Step 2:

Measure the Height

Measure the inside height from bead to bead.Take three measurements: left, middle, and right.
Again, record the smallest value.

Step 3:

Measure the Bead Depth

This helps determine the right bracket size.Place a credit card flat against the glass and measure from the glass to the edge of the bead.
Record the bead depth in millimetres.

Step 4:

Account for Window Handles

If your window has a handle, measure from the left bead to the pivot point of the handle.
This ensures we create an accurate rebate.

Final Checks

- Repeat the same measurements for any upper or secondary sections of the window.
- Always use the smallest width and height from your measurements.
- Double-check all figures before placing your order.

Reminder

Handles, vents, or locks inside the recess can affect installation.Be sure to include their positioning in your measurements.

How to Measure LuxCore™
Shutters

LuxCore™ shutters are designed for DIY inside mount installation. For best results, measure the internal recess of your rectangular window carefully.

Inside mount only — not suitable for bay, bow, or shaped windows.

Have these ready before measuring:

Metal tape measure
(millimetres)

Pencil and notepad
(or digital note app)

Credit card
(for checking bead depth)

Step stool or ladder
(for tall windows)

Record the smallest width in millimetres.

Measure the Height

Measure the inside height at the top, middle, and right..

A minimum of 35-40mm is required.

LuxWood™ shutters combine real wood with ABS durability. They are installed inside the window recess. Follow these simplified steps for accurate measuring.
