LuxFit™ Shutters (Easy-Fit No-Drill) can only be installed on windows with PVC frames. They are not compatible with aluminium or timber window frames.

Step 1:

Measure the Width

Measure the inside width of the window frame, from bead to bead.Take three measurements: top, middle, and bottom.
Record the smallest measurement to the nearest millimetre.

Step 2:

Measure the Height

Measure the inside height from bead to bead.Take three measurements: left, middle, and right.
Again, record the smallest value.

Step 3:

Measure the Bead Depth

This helps determine the right bracket size.Place a credit card flat against the glass and measure from the glass to the edge of the bead.
Record the bead depth in millimetres.

Step 3:

Account for Window Handles

If your window has a handle, measure from the left bead to the pivot point of the handle.
This ensures we create an accurate rebate.

Final Checks

- Repeat the same measurements for any upper or secondary sections of the window.
- Always use the smallest width and height from your measurements.
- Double-check all figures before placing your order.

Handles, vents, or locks inside the recess can affect installation.Be sure to include their positioning in your measurements.

LuxFit™ shutters are designed for fast, no-drill installation using a unique Easy-Fit clip-in system. They mount directly into your uPVC window frame without any screws or damage.

LuxFit™ shutters are compatible only with uPVC windows that open inwards. Not suitable for timber or aluminium frames.

• Credit card or plastic spacer (for bracket depth)
• Step stool (if needed)
• Clean cloth to wipe the frame before fitting

Step 1: Insert the Brackets

Use a credit card to gauge the correct depth and slide each bracket into the window gasket seal at each corner. Fit the bottom brackets first, then the top.

Step 2: Clip In the Shutter Frame

Align the bottom of the shutter frame with the lower brackets and press firmly to clip in. Then push the top of the frame into the top brackets until it clicks securely.

Step 3: Final Checks

Ensure all four corners are securely attached and the shutters open and close freely. If your window has multiple sections, repeat the same steps for each.

Yes. LuxFit™ shutters are cordless and secure, offering a safe alternative to traditional blinds in homes with children or pets.

Can I control light and privacy?

Absolutely. You can tilt the louvres to adjust the amount of light and privacy just like traditional plantation shutters.
